Great way to waste half of your day.
That said, it definitely lived up to the commercial and by the end of the first chapter I sent out mass SMS messages advising my friends to not waste their life and play this game, after all nothing should be this much fun...However, by the end of the sixth chapter my attitude had dramatically shifted towards it....It's a lot of fun still, but it's extremely repetitive. The aforementioned zombie/head hunter looking things are pretty much 98% of the enemies.
Nice elements in this game, such as the digital harpoon which allows you to lasso enemies closer, slow time to a crawl and discover a multitude of ways to kill them. The game focuses too heavily on discovering new kill techniques/combos there's a lot but generally I would only use maybe half a dozen for 90% of the game....or should I say that's all that really felt natural.
After a while you can upgrade guns for supercharged mode even bursts that shoots 100 rounds at once....seems like a grand idea, but makes most of the boss characters effortless.Seriously, I think I had more trouble with the first boss than any other. Some were definitely tedious, but still, very simple tactic -- stay out of harms way, and darken the sun with bullets.....and that's pretty much it.
Anyway, I would highly recommend buying used online, I would have to say as much fun as it is it wouldn't have been worth retail price.
