In this world of gaming, many people pre-judge games based on the brand name they have attached to them. Sure, many games based off of famous television shows or films tend to end up as disasters, and in many cases these gamers are rightfully skeptical. However every now and then, this one game comes along that surprises everyone and is actually a decent game based off of fiction from another form of entertainment. Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 3 is exactly one of those sorts of games. While many may maintain the same prejudice they generally uphold towards these sorts of games, this game is an example of a license from a popular television franchise turned into a game and done really well.

At it's core, Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 3 is a game in which you run across levels, climb up ladders and collect things until you reach the key to unlock the next level. Along the way are baddies who try and get in your way and you have to find your way around them without dying and keeping your key safe. While this may not sound terrific, the game is much more fun than can be explained in words. The action is always lively and requires some strategy to actually try and get past the enemies and reach the door, which is located in different places on each level and becomes increasingly harder to get to.

Visually the game is basic as far as Gameboy Color games go, but it looks good. Audio wise the game is a bit bland and most of the music gets tired early on, but it isn't bad enough that you'll get annoyed by it. The game has plenty of levels too and coupled with a decent default difficulty which increases as the levels pass, the game takes a while to complete.

With it's addictive and manic gameplay, Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 3 is a really great portable experience. The gameplay may be too basic for some and it may get a bit repetitive for some later on, but anyone willing to look past these faults as well as the brand name will most likely find a platforming game they will enjoy.
