Bubble Bobble is great as always, Rainbow Islands isn't so great

Bubble Bobble began its life in the arcade many a year ago only to still hold its greatness years later Bubble Bobble prides itself on being a multicolor game and the version on the Sega Saturn is an almost exact arcade port Bubble Bobble being as it is has never changed and only one REAL sequel has been made to it not including rainbow islands (curse you bust a move and/or super bubble pop). Bubble Bobble began its life in the arcade many a year ago only to still hold its greatness when played nowadays. There has been a port of Bubble Bobble on almost every console and portable ever. Now here we have the Sega Saturn version which holds its own against most arcade ports. It managed to keep the fun gameplay, boss fights, psycodelic colors and great, highly addictive music and of course the great 2 player fun! The only problem as with all Bubble Bobble ports is that getting the “good” ending is almost impossible, which is expected when you take away the quarter slots…. Even though Bubble Bobble for the Sega Saturn is a great game that will hold it’s own against nowadays boredom is still a very good port of an arcade classic and hours of super happy fun ^_^ Ranbow Islands, a sequal (I don't like calling it that) to Bubble Bobble with slightly improved graphics and an overuse of rainows as well as hords of bad guys to fight this platforming action arcade style game may hold your intrest for a litle bit but not for long.... NOTE: the opening cinematic is pretty neat
