An amusing storyline and unique multiplayer makes Brutal Legend great. Oh yeah, Jack Black is in it too.
The story has its comical moments, whether it be Eddie's "DECAPITATION!!!!!!!!!!" or him stating that he will teach Ophelia of french-kissing, there are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. After you finish the story, there's still plenty to do in single player. You can do secondary missions like hunting, racing, ambushes, and more. There are also plenty of items and relics to be found in this world of Metal, like songs for The Deuce (Druid Plow), new solos to learn, legends of the Metal world, and more. What is also cool about Brutal Legend is that it also functions as a Real Time Strategy game when you do the Stage Battles.
The stage battles are pretty cool and it's fun to summon powerful beasts and monsters to obliterate everything. You can choose between being Ironheade (the metalheads), Tainted Coil (the bad guys), and Drowning Doom (the emos). The objective of the stage battles is to destroy the opponent's stage before they destroy yours. You must also build merch booths from the fan geysers in order to get more fans and be able to summon more powerful creatures. This is the multiplayer mode, so you're able to team up with your friends and conquer other people by the ways of metal!
So, in conclusion, Brutal Legend is a great game that all metalheads should seriously check out. Even if you are not a metalhead, check it out anyway.
