This game could've been considered one of the best games ever, if it wasn't so short.

User Rating: 8.5 | Brutal Legend PS3
Here's the game in a nutshell.
The characters are amazing, the gameplay is innovative and fun.
This game is an artistic masterpiece, from the Tainted Coil's S&M wear and horns, to the Zaulia's Peter Criss type makeup, to the Tear Drinkers' environments.
The main campaign is a lot of fun, and the ad-lib dialogue from Jack Black is just hilarious. The appearance of the heavy metal heavyweights such as Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmister and Rob Halford was just right for this game. with dialogue perfectly emphasizing their characters.
The soundtrack gets a 10/10 from me, because each song gives certain locations a certain vibe
Now, the way I like to describe Tim Schaffer when asked is "He's like the Tim Burton of the video game world", for a simple reason, that he's a ingeniously demented writer and director.

Now I will get to the part that p***** me off the most.
THE GAME IS TOO DAMN SHORT!
The game barely lasts 7 hours, and the side missions are disgustingly repetitive.
A game this good with characters this well developed, you'd think Tim Schaffer would at least make it a 40 hour experience!
But alas, Tim Schaffer missed the mark there.
This game could've been a GOTY if it wasn't so damn short.
The graphics are an artistic masterpiece.

I just hope a sequel is in the works.
Because this game's universe is just so cool, it would be a crime upon gaming to confine it to a single 7 hour game.
My only request to Tim Schaffer is for him to A) make the game at least 4-5 times longer. B) Diversify side missions and make them support the storyline better. C) More heavy metal icons. D) Liven up the free roaming a bit.
