If Bowling's your game, this is YOUR Sim.

It’s simple. If you like Bowling, you’ll like this game.
But…I’m not sure it should be called a game. It’s more like a simulation.
From your first gutter ball (there will be some) to your first strike,
this game will (no pun intended) “hook” you.

As a long-time veteran bowler, I can attest to the fact that
the game’s physics are as nearly perfect as they can be.

I know what you’re thinking: “So, once I figure out how to shoot a strike, it’s all over!”
Wrong! The game’s control system is so sensitive to the human factor that “mailing it in” is virtually impossible.

The designers have integrated the perfect combination of speed-spin-control vectors
to keep the game play true-to-life. They even include a “fatigue factor’ which kicks in if you’re relying too much on power or spin. Add to these a changing “oil pattern” and you have just enough variation to keep you honest.

No kidding! The package is so complete that a newbie could learn to bowl before even going to the lanes!

Added features include a between game lesson in game terminology, some interesting, if repetitive cut scenes, authentic sounds, and humorous animations for strikes, spares, splits and the like.

The main mode of play is career mode, which starts you out in the local alley, in your house shoes and ball. Winning allows you to trick out your gear and ball until you’re a pin-busting dynamo.

There’s also a practice mode for when you don’t feel like laying it on the line.

I wish they’d offered a trick shot mode, or a way to set up spares and splits, but when you think about it, when was the last time you got that in real life?

As I’ve said before: real life is what this game is all about.
Did I call it a “game” again??

If you like bowling, GET IT!
