Good game despite flaws.....

User Rating: 7 | Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway PS3
I recently sold this game, purely because after playing it for some time I got bored, and kept thinking to myself 'are the levels just the same with different dialogue and textures?'. The game is one of the most repetitive FPS games I have played, but certainly not the worst.

Gameplay - Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is the third entry in the Brothers in Arms series of video games which follows the men of the 101st Airborne Division (502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment). This game once again puts players in the role of Staff Sergeant Matt Baker during Operation Market Garden in the later stages of World War II. The game has many new features, including a selection of new specialized units (bazooka and machine gun teams). When a command is issued, the player model uses authentic WWII infantry hand signals to issue the command to his squad, similar to its predecessors. The player also has the ability to take cover behind objects and fire from a third person perspective which is an integral part of the game's strategy. A new "health" system has replaced the more punishing set health per mission system of previous titles in the franchise. This makes the game for fun yet challenging at the same time.

Graphics - The graphics on brothers in arms hells highway is clearly neither good nor bad. Their's nothing that stands out in-game or during cutscenes. But there's nothing to show that it's anything lower than PS3. In one word, average.

Sound - The music during cutscenes is great, and the dialogue is realistic, but the repetitive same voice when you order your team to move (which you do alot of) can get frustrating. But everything you would expect in an FPS game is there, gunshots, explosions, snipers.

Replay Value - I certainly wouldn't pick this game up a second time to play it through again, but I can see why a few people would, the storyline has alot of history to it and it actually helped me in a history exam!

Gameplay - 7.5
Graphics - 8
Sound - 8.5
Replay Value - 6
OVERALL - 7

Worth buying to complete, historic and educational storyline and good sound effects, but multiplayer can be a drag and very difficult to enjoy it through a second time.
