In this latest trailer for Brink, the abilities you'll use in battle get an airing.
I like a little cel shading. Console graphics aren't beast enough yet for hyper realism. Until they are, I prefer games to look gamey. Plus the game has a slick art style that could boost aesthetic longevity. Aside from looks, the freedom of movement in this game rivals Uncharted.
Looks like an arcade shooter with customizable characters and weapons, and some humor ofcourse. I don't really know buying this game, I'm surely getting Portal 2, L.A. Noire and maybe Dirt 3. But this game won't fit in my budget. Although I'm very interesting in this game, and I definitely hope this game will rock!
Looks really awesome! Tho the gun does look a bit cartoonish.....but I'm sure this game will rock! Just hope it does'nt get delayed, again!
@INewIRave For the most part, I agree. At the same time, I've heard really good things from people who've played it at PAX and other press events. Apparently, the controls are pretty much spot on, and the gameplay is pretty stellar. Still, a demo definitely wouldn't hurt :D.
Still undecided, fps have become unpredictable you never know how good it is till you have played it as its all down to the mechanics and how it feels. Demo plz.
@Adema83 He also came back with a pistol, so the player may be forced to keep the pistol or find a new weapon.
@AlexMK4 Splash Damage arent that stupid, it will most likely have 1 use per spawn to stop overuse. So say you spawn, get your ass handed to you and die and decide to use the self res and then get your ass handed to you again and die for the second time, you will then be forced to spawn on the second death back at a spawn point.
I love the look of this game and its all because unlike in COD when you're shot that usually results in death, in this you can actually escape by fleeing with awesome parkour moves.
Looked immense up to the point where self-resurrect came in. Getting killed by a last-stander in COD was bad enough. But letting them get back up again and again on their own is a recipie for overuse and abuse.
I didn't have much interest in this at first. But, now that I have watched many of the trailers this is a day one buy for me.
Lookin very sexy! Graphics and engine didn't look as good as previous trailers in this video though :/ Features on the other hand..
