Good, but lacks realism and many features

Ponting/Lara's Cricket 2007 plays like a true codemasters cricket game - good for a slogfest but unfortunately lacks just about everything else. Don't get me wrong, I was a massive fan of Shane Warne 99. But after getting accustomed to the EA versions, it's extrememly difficult to go back to a game which has very few gameplay options (no test series available for one) and unrealistic in-game actions - the fielding and keeping are terrible. As a cricket nut, i'm after a true, in-depth cricket game. This isn't it. Fun for a slog and great main menu music, but that's about it.

  Not Best but lot better than the Rival Cricket 07, lot of variety and a bit complex to make the game fun :)

  Considerably better than its rival EA Sports: Cricket 2007, even with its own faults. Not perfect but still a good game.
