User Rating: 8.5 | Brian Lara International Cricket 2005 PS2
Brian Lara cricket 2005 is a brilliant cricket game for the PS2. It starts off with a large selection of modes to play like exhibition, challenge, tournaments, net practice, carrer and several more. We will start with exhibition. In exhibition you can choose either ODI, test or double wicket. We all know what ODI's and tests are, but what is double wicket? Double wicket is a game that involves two player teams. It is good to have a batsman and an all rounder. You then play a game of cricket where your batsman score as many runs as they can in the set number of overs.

Challenge is one of BL:2005's cool features. It includes classic matches, where you replay some of the greatest or most memorable cricket matches of all time. World XI, where you play them as a side of your choice. And finally the classic XI, who are the best side to verse in the game.

You can create a player to use and train up to become a world class bowler or batsman (or allrounder). This is quite fun, but the problem is that the customisable options are quite limited. You can also create your own squad/team.

GRAPHICS - BL:2005 has some nice visuals on top of the gameplay. Crease lines in shirts and nice pitch graphics to name a few. However the character motions can be quite jerky and the way a fielder throws is really quite horrible to look at. Get past that, and you're set to enjoy a great game.

SOUND - The game sounds quite good, but the only probllem is the commentary can occasionaly be (mostly not) repetitive. If you have say 5 dot balls in an over, the commentator will just keep saying "no run there" or "Nothing scored of that delivery".

OVERALL - I really enjoyed this game as the test matches can be great fun to play and they keep you busy for a long time. Fantastic cricket game, keep them coming!
