One of the best cricket games I've played on the PC...

The game is quite old but truly explains the legacy it had started with this instalment on the PC. It is truly one of the very best cricket games because of its great control system and realism.

The game unlike all the EA Cricket series games provides a lot of realism and a very smooth control system. The game can be easily learnt and doesn't have any complications. It has a Practice mode, World Cup Mode and it also has a classic matches mode in which you have to complete the challenges in the match to win the challenge. The game is a superb mix of good graphics, realistic commentary and awesome gameplay. The game is very smooth and only you get to choose where to hit the shot and when to run, where to bowl.., There are no PC prompts or hints telling you when to run and when not to, where to bowl... The game has a major drawback that it has all players looking the same and even having the same height. Even though having the same face can be crossed out as a drawback as the game is quite old but at least the height of the players could have been adjusted. The game needs to be played in high resolutions to play without the need of anti-aliasing which the game does not support.

The game on the whole is one classic cricket game that has set the stage for the advent of new and better Cricket games.
