A major setback for horse racing games

Where do I begin. First off, I will start with the positives. I like the NTRA includes real race tracks, with real names, and overall look like the real ones. I also like the graphics, which are detailed and overall good. I also think that for $19.99, its not to bad of a price for this game. I mean what do you expect, Gallop Racer?? Thats why I think I dislike this game, I have been spoiled by the Gallop Racer series. Even the very first Gallop Racer is a lot better than this game. I dont like the game play of NTRA, I think it is way too simple. The training of the horses is just a click of a button, and the breeding about the same way. I also don't get why you have to watch all of the races every week. This is bad feature, one that gets old very quick. NTRA also has a poor 2- player game, since it doesn't use a cut screen and if one player gets too far ahead of the other, the player who is behind gets basically taken over by the CPU. Another feature I just dont understand. The gambling aspect of the game is fun, and very similar to Gallop Racers. Overall I would suggest buying the very first Gallop Racer for 20$ way before you buy this game-its a dissapoint.
