i ask my self that same question ever since i played this game all the way through the first time and ever since i saw the end credits i have wished for a sequel. i think the graphics were pretty good, the sound was cool in a realistic way that you literally hear everything (like the character's breathing) from the first person perspective you always get to see the player when you look down (like halo 2, but unlike most other first person games where you might as well say "Hey look no feet") the gameplay kind of reminds me of shenmue in some ways like interacting with objects and even the hand to hand. the game all together though could use some improvements, i mean i love the hand to hand...but it seams only useful for one on one situations, and not for large groups. but then again this game would be way too easy if not for the challenges. so as far as the controls are concerned it has some "stiffness" issues but its so minor it doesn't effect my opinion on the game, except in one thing...the special abilities you get later on, which didn't bother me because i got used to NOT using them, but will give you problems if you rely on them. the games story is compelling and pretty original for the most part. the main characters (both protagonist and antagonists) are pretty cool for the most part. i know i already said this...but this game needs a sequel, or a prequel or even a high def update for 360 or ps3 with some minor improvements. either would be cool to me. anyway, i wish this game had more of a following so it can get some sort of follow up. but still in the end, i give this game a double thumbs up, and i am glad i found it.
