Weird review. He mentions only good things, and he gives the score of 8? LOL He basically said: "this is a fantastic game, with great story, great places, great weapons, great multiplayer, etc, but i'ts not Call of Duty, so we can't give a 9+ score"

I recently got Borderlands gifted to me on Steam. If I knew it was THIS good, I would've bought it myself a while back. Love it.
2 Like PSN+ is giving this away free at the moment, downloaded a few days ago and i cant stop playing it... very cool original(ish) game.
I can't imagine picking this up just for the MP - but it does look solid, maybe I'll get the sequel...

@HD_audio_CoYotE bought it today at MediaMarkt for 3?. Check around, Steam version is very expensive (20?). There are packs with all DLCs around there for around 10? if you look around.

why be smart?
it cannot, there are tactics, recoil, bulletdrop, and many other factors that play into how realistic a game is. I had not compared this game to "really shooting a gun and running around...."

if you enjoy a slower-paced FPS/RPG yes. For me personally, i like the more realistic shooters (operation flashpoint).
Chris Watters reviews mostly shooters games like Maxwell does with fighters and Kevin Vanord with RPGs. Still awesome job!! :)

Reminds me of RAGE but actually looks better & more fun. Might get game of the year edition as can pick it up on the cheap now.
Borderland for xbox 360 is much better! Love the art. People think it s*ck cause of it but it make the game cool!
I must say... GREAT GAME!! worth the $20 on psn. I was disapointed though when i beat both play throughs and reach max 58 and then found out i had to buy dlc content to reach level 69.... which the max level being 69 is both a joke in itself... but also disapointing... In the second game i hope they raise max level to around 100 and also make the playthrough twice as long with a longer story and a ton more side missions!! All in All .... great game
This is an extremely funny game, loved it all the way through, even though the characters throughout the world lost their spunk after you saw their introduction videos.
@bhyesilnil cause at launch it had some issues that the other versions didnt, but were fixed right away, so its essentially an 8.5 now.
I really wish PC games had more local multiplayer options. It's a little irk-some when making a gaming rig is already so expensive. Kills the idea of replacing consoles.
great game i didnt expect it to be a very good game but im glad i was wrong i hope they bring out another maybe with 8 player coop this time then we will have 8x as much fun=)
