Borderlands Teaser Trailer (Xbox 360)

Am I the only one thinking this type of gfx is also amazing?

im a fan of real faces not masks

like the character models with gasmask and 3d models with apocalypce background !

i love cell shading and i love textures its ok to just enjoy games even with out amazing graphics

there are a few things better about non high-end graphics 1.) you wont be as prone to looking for graphical errors 2.) it doesnt take up as much data so faster loading 3.) if ragdoll effects are in it its even more funny

I liked Crackdown's cell shaded visuals a lot more then Prototype's blandness. So I don't really care if they stick with the cell or not, the game is set up to be a real winner.

I made this observation on another video of this game: You know what this reminds me of a little? The movie Heavy Metal. It's almost like playing in an ultra-violent cartoon. And graphics aren't everything. They tend to grow on you if the game is good. World of Warcraft is a perfect example of a game that did not have cutting edge graphics, yet is loved more than any game in history. A HUGE advantage to using a graphic style like this is that is takes MUCH longer for the graphics to become outdated. Everquest 2 is an example of cutting edge graphics that grew long in the tooth rather rapidly, while WoW still looks like WoW and the graphics still look good because they were made somewhat cartoony out of the box.

What are you all talking about, the graphics are awesome, and just wait like 5 weeks and someone will bring out a non cell shaded texture pack anyways :)

Aside from the main story I could see them really making a lot of money off of this by having a ton of DLC....

I don't care what the rest of you all think....I saw this game when I got the GI a long time back...borderlands looked to good to be true...a combonation of FPS and RPG along with four player co-op? intense vehicle combat? so many guns? and of course amazing looking graphics...But I was absolutely crushed when I saw this whole redone version...It is no longer that perfect game that I invisioned...

The sound is like a mixture of Transformers, Star Wars, and maybe even a little Terminator.

I'm finnaly sold the new graphics. Will likely buy on day 1 X)

I believe you can just plug in a standard USB Keyboard and mouse for the 360, that or you can buy one. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

XBOX 360 = SHOOTER, and surprisingly with a mouse and a keyboard is better to play.....so why nobody makes a keyboard and mouse FOR THE XBOX???....

Its like FO3, but with multiplayer,co-op, vehicles, and aliens......... awesome!

I love cel-shading. The game sounds awesome. I just hope the combat is INFINITELY better than Brother in Arms cuz the controls in that game suck. This is definately one of my most looked forward to games though. Its like Earth Defense Force(tons of weps) squished with Fallout(fps/rpg) squished with a namco-bandai fighter game(cel-shading)

well...I've honestly never been a fan of cel-shaded games as I've personally always felt that the art style in cel-shaded games looks cartoony and takes away the intensity or action of a game (unless it's meant to portray humor and cartoons). To me Borderlands would look a million times better with a normal art style, but I heard that they are now heading in a humorous direction with the puns so it might fit well.
