Randy Picthford gets us excited for Borderlands in this interview.
this gmae looks great i want this for christmas and can you put different sights on your weapon from a shop or something or is it just random PSN: Redhand7
Good on this guy to not be afraid of taking other elements from other games and put em in the game. Alot of developers arnt open about that even though theres nothing wrong with it.
im glad everyones now over the whole 'oh no, its not realistic' art style. and im glad they are open about thier influences. and im glad i can go a hot chick that can phase walk. some guy with a big chin would be saying 'giggity'
love mad max films. this looks Solid i just hope its as much fun on single player than it is on multi player....... id tap that Sh*t
Great video, explained/answered some questions I had about the different classes. I hope that the character customization will be pretty good. I heard if you pre-order, you'll get even more guns!
At first I wasn't so sure about the art but it looks amazing, they did a great job and the guy talking about his game didn't put me to sleep its great to see developers get so into there games :)
fine man fine I will buy this game. I have gotten absolutly psyched about it and I rarely see developers so excited about what they made. All I hope now is that there will be stuff like nightmare and hell difficulty like in diablo and I can't ask for more
I think I'm really looking forward to this game. I can just see myself now toughing it out in the borderlands, leveling up with my party and stuff. Sweet :D
Great interview. The art style helps the game a lot. And I really would like to know more about the story. I don't really enjoy never ending games, with infinite loot; it just ain't my thing.
my dad said becouse my birthdays october 30 thats great my dad said he would get it for me yay yay yay yay yay yay
@anyone who plays games for realism You dont play video games to get back into reality you play them for a different reality.
this game is solid, forget the people that dont like the art. if u want realism play some other fps or rpg. im glade this game is going with cell shading, it brings a different game play to the taple and not the same old stuff we get these days. bravo gearbox this game look sick, cant wait for the co op!
i dont like cell shading, never did, never will, i think it takes away the sense of realism for me, it dont look like mad max to me!!!
i cant get over the art style WHYYY, i love everything about the game except the art style it ruined the game for me
it reminds me a hellgate 2 ... but hellgate was more rpg .. i didnt saw any skill tree or inventory in this video ... sometimes you can't mix a donkey and a ferrari just to have an outstanding journey...
i hate to agree with most everyone on this board, but theyre absolutely right. ive been following this game since it was the gameinformer cover story about a year ago and i already knew all of this.. theyre not really giving us any new info lately, and its still 2 months off. Regardless, its looking to be a great title and if it lives up to expectations will probably be. Hopefully they dont put out another fable or two worlds.
@ GM-Lucra everyone can be the same character, you can have 4 of any character or any combination of the characters want.
Another thing about online play that I would like to know is if four players each have to be a different character. Lets say that I wanted to play the game with three of my buddies and a couple of us wanted to play as a hunter. Can only one of us play as the hunter with the others forced to play as the other classes or can there be more than one?
I completely agree with GM-Lucra. A huge part of making your character feel unique and different from others is appearance. I am very excited, and I see a lot of potential, but if I can't customize my characters appearance, It's all for nothing.
I think the game looks great, but I am still curious about the story? Is there one? Is it like Fallout 3 where you explore and pick up quests along the way? Or is it like Left for Dead and has no story and relies mainy on multiplayer? I think either way it will be fun. This guys excitement is rubbing off on me.
With the new art style this game looks to have some great potential. The only concern I might have if if that is exactly what the four main characters look like or if it can be altered. Otherwise online there might be four soldiers or hunters that all look the same. The look of the character is a big part of making them feel like your own.
Borderlands looks awesome. With it's art style and blend of RPG and FPS Elements, this is going to be SWEET when it releases.
wow it def takes some stuff from other games but at the same time it looks unique. I wonder about the story though, cant wait to see more stuff on Borderlands.
I am actually excited about this game. I love the art style, more games should look like this, and the game play looks solid. I'm also looking forward to the co- op mode, I just hope you can separate from your teammates.
