looks a bit dull but ill wait for the review

@MrPilgrim, That's call Cel-Shading, it's supposed to look like that and is the direction the designers of the game wanted to take to visualize the game -_-

Phantongamer 9 pts

Wow, every time I look at this game it just gets better and better, can not wait!

MrPilgrim 5 pts

everything about this game looks great, exept those cartoony outlines on everything

jedediahpelland 13 pts

Anyway who cares which is better, PC version, or Console version, does it really matter, like I said below, the only reason I'll get it on PC is for the controls, (and hopefully mods!!!)

jedediahpelland 13 pts

@Slaggo (and anyone else) its not to hard to build your own pc, I have a basic understanding how pc's are put together and thats all you really need, plus patience and common sense, I built my first pc about a year ago and havn't had a problem since, and I wouldn't call myself really tech savvy, anyway the game looks awesome, probably get it on pc, just cause I prefer to play first person shooters with keyboard and mouse instead of controller.

Wish cell-shaded games had an option to turn off the comic outline around each character.

dman123_1 5 pts

i dont see whats wrong with cel shaded graphics... honestly they need more games like this using it

Dedodido Posted Oct 9, 2009 3:42 pm ET @ Pixel Addict: Why not just plug your PC into the TV and use a mouse on a lap tray in that case... Or use a PC gaming controler. If you have a decent PC, it'll be more powerful, run at a higher resolution, and you'll get a better release of the game. Seems like a no brainer if you ask me... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ As far as a better release on PC's goes, Lol tell that to the people that just bought Operation Flashpoint......

This game is looking to be a cool one, I hope it lives up to the expectations!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SpinDrJr Posted Oct 12, 2009 2:51 am ET This guy must be playing on a console cause his aim is terribad. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What clued you in? The giant Xbox controller X button with 'Reload' or 'Use'next to it?

slaggo 5 pts

@SpinDrJr LOL, looks more like a PC gamer trying to learn how to use a controller. Keyboards & mice aren't the only gaming input controllers out there. @niniodelpunk That's true...it's cheap to build a kicking PC if you buy the parts and build it yourself from a site like TigerDirect (built a few for some clients) but it requires the user to be tech savvy, whereas with a console, it's just a decent TV, console, a couple cables and the game. So, if you can afford it and enjoy playing with technology, then go for PC versions of games...but for others that aren't comfortable with that, they'll just fire up a console and not worry about Windows crashing or some randome virus. ;-)

niniodelpunk 5 pts

@slaggo I agree, you play on whatever you like most playing, but get your facts straight, you don't need 2000$ for a pc... 1000$ is more than enough... 1300$ for a nice monitor... a 1000$ computer can play games at a higher level quality (technical quality = 3D graphics) than any console. EDIT: By the way, while you pay 60$ for your version I pay 135$ on steam for 4 copies!... hmmm 100$ less for a better looking, better playing game, I can live with the investment of a pc... L4D2 also is 135$ for 4 copies... beat that

nomorepain4u 5 pts

guns look soooo weird. looks like a rental not sure about buying looking forward to fallout 3 goty and dragonball z raging blast though. it has over 70 characters holy crap

slaggo 5 pts

@Onitnoc I totally agree....I'm LOVING the soundtrack...very, very different. Already have this game reserved and paid off for my PS3....lookin' forward to it. =) Also, for the PC elitists and console gamers...guys, chill...we're all gamers. If you wanna play on the PC, knock yourself out. If you wanna play on a console, knock yourself out. I just prefer console play since my reflex are a bit better with a controller. Plus, I can relax a bit more in front of my TV on the couch or gamer chair instead of a desk with my PC. Also, there are games that come to the consoles but never make it to the PC and vice versa. But for alot of gamers, a console or two is more financially sounds than investing in a $2,000 PC with a decent monitor (around $2,300 or so) compared to $1,000 for a console, game, and decent LCD HDTV.

it looks like itll be a good game, im still not sold on the art style tho

Protect your chicken from Dokken !!! No no no please not that again ...

This game is looking better and better all the time! Every video I see makes the wait for the game more and more agonizing.

TheJamin 5 pts

@ PixelAddict i'll take a 24 inch monitor with better picture quality and a higher resolution over a crappy 42inch TV anyday. I'll also take my GTX 295 and Highly overclocked CPU over the consoles too! Mouse and Keyboard FTW - and this is coming from someone who has a 360, PS3 and Wii.

mooch35 6 pts

@ FlashHawk79 - Not trying to sound like an ass here, but even years of training with a thumbstick doesn't even compare to a mouse any keyboard.

mooch35 6 pts

@ aa2k - Controller + Game = Poor accuracy Mouse and keyboard is 10x more accurate and precise than those little thumbsticks.

ChadSped 5 pts

this game looks awesome....i would pre order it but im going to wait for the reviews to come out first....just in case :)

FlashHawk79 5 pts

@ Exostenza: YEARS of training, my friend, years of it.

KobayashiEQ 5 pts

I do have to say, i used to hate FPS games on consoles a few years back. But after a brief adjustment period, i haven't looked back.

InfinityROX 5 pts

Anybody have any estimate on how many guns there will be???

Exostenza 5 pts

I don't get how people can play FPS on the console.. the aiming looks so clunky. Terrible. Pre-ordered for PC!

I never really paid much attention to this game until just recently, it is a definet purchase down the road.

@armyboy5 So does your comment.

RomeoFalcon 5 pts

I'm DEFINENTLY gonna consider getting this game. Looks cool.

PixelAddict 216 pts

I don't think the lack of precision was due to it being a controller versus a mouse... the skill shown by that player was not.. great. Besides, I can't stand using a mouse for a game. I use a mouse all day at work. Last thing I want to do is use one for my gaming. Besides, I'll take a console on a 42" LCD over a PC with a 19" LCD EVERY SINGLE DAY, regardless of "precision"...

icecubefosho 5 pts

Bagelinbutter you've gotta be crazy with that statement. Console gamers can't deny that a mouse (if you are used to it) is far more precise and accurate than an Analog stick. Its science! Laser Mice with all their DPI's can blow an Analog stick away.

SpiKeX-Crom 5 pts

that gun shoots very, very, VEEEERRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, slowly, looks wierd. Shooting up mutated hamsters and bats.

bagelnbutter 5 pts

the percision of a mouse r u serious it doesnt matter the xbox controls r better than comp so watever u wanna say
