This game is simply a must have. The game looks and plays great, with the exception of a few glitches here and there. Roland's Scorpio turret is a great distraction/companion to have when you get swarmed by enemies. Lilith's Phasewalk is very handy for escaping tough hordes and also for healing and traveling quickly. I have only played as 2 of the characters, but seeing as Borderlands 2 is coming out in the fall, I might not get around to playing the other 2. There is a ton of replay value in this game and the loot system keeps you hunting for better and better guns. The online co-op is very fun if you can get some friends to play with. I say with friends, since there has been an abundance of save file modifiers that have overpowered guns and can ruin the fun for people that wish to play the game in its natural state. There is also an issue with a viral quest that can't be completed and can stop you from advancing in the story. This quest will appear in your quest list just by playing with someone who has that quest (most people who've played publicly online. These annoyances are minor, however and don't take away from the overall experience of the game. On a final note, the DLC packs for the game have plenty of content in each one and since you can buy the Game of the Year Edition, you get all four with the game for 30$ or under, which is an amazing value. Overall, if you like first-person shooters and role-playing games with a great loot system then you'll like Borderlands. Great fun!

The most fun co-op for the ps3, with great both FPS and RPG aspects, that make for a great and enjoyable adventure.

Yes, Skagzilla can be defeated without dying. Lilith used an incendiary SMG, and finished with a shotgun. Proof of one play is placing the bait.Posted Dec 28, 2010
