Just soem questions about them, such as what is the easiest way to farm for these bad boys? I love using eridian weapons(especially the thunder 101) and learning of these three rarities has inspired me to farm for them. All i have managed to scrap up is that most folks seem to get them off the BA Lance Pyro's(The Fire Bomb which si the one i want the msot above all). So I'm simply curious if there are better ways to get it rather than simply running to the ridge way, killing the lone BA Pyro and then reseting. Also, I wouldn't mind if anyone could take the time to possibly dupe or trade these orange eridian weapons, but I have a stockpile of random loot I deemed "good" from farming cramerax hundreds of times. (I would desire to have the orange eridian weapons set at level 66^, I want to burn the hell outta my foes with taht firebomb!)
- Jan 21, 2011 11:52 am GMTI've heard Skyscraper drops one. The Orange Cannon I believe. But havn't confirmed it yet. Also heard that the drifters themselves can drop some. Again tho, just heard it. Can't say for sure...

XBL-Acediamondex - Jan 21, 2011 12:48 pm GMTI've also been looking for them. Skyscraper has a chance to drop Pearlescent weapons. The orange Eridians are only in General Knoxx:
The Eridian Rifle, Eridian Glob Gun, Eridian Flaregun and the Eridian Mega Cannon are exclusive to The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. Most of these weapons have an orange rarity variant.

Am I leaking? - Jan 21, 2011 3:39 pm GMT
While I do appreciate the information, none of it atually accomplished answering my question directly. I need to know WHAT is the easiest way to farm the orange eridian weapons(or better yet, WHO). Never thought skyscraper would drop anything, let alone pearl weapons. Still farming the BA Pyro's and all, to which I've only recieved a handful of flareguns so far(progress I suppose). I've killed Cramerax several hundred times by myself(and no hacks/mods to boot), and I got a couple pearl items(Alacritous Rose, some Corrosive/Electric SMG, and a shotgun that shoots arcing grenades) but I've never seen an orange eridian weapon drop from him. So, with that in mind I highly doubt he is the best way to farm for such rarities. Also heard the armory chests had a good drop ratio for said orange eridian weapons, but my is perma-bugged thanks to some prick who decided to bug it while I was trying to simply get the "complete all quests" achieve. So that leaves only a few options, atleast on a solo hunt I suppose. Still researching more about it, anymore information at this point may prove helpful and tyvm for the effort. And again, if anyone has these weapons, I'm willing to trade for them(or dupe them, if you're feeling generous). I'll need the guys to be atleast lvl66 requirement and higher, because I'll probably be using them quite often.

Neither do you...
- Jan 21, 2011 4:49 pm GMTIf you check the link I sent, you can dig down into each Eridian weapon type. I've read it before and they mention what types of enemies drop them. I believe bad mutha bandits in DLC 3 drop them, but check that link out...hth

Am I leaking? - Jan 21, 2011 8:44 pm GMTI've only ever seen green Eridian weapons. Even some of the good ones I've found (the lightning one in particular) is green...where/when do find orange (or any other color)?

Only in the Knoxx DLC areas. They seem to be rarer then pearlescents.

only found a few orange and blue iridian on farmoury.....EXTREMELY rare you stand a better chance finding pearlsc.

18 days and 6 hours odd with my soldier and not even a sniff of blue or orange Eridians but 6 pearlescents. I may have overlooked many a good drop by killing lots of Drifters in the monsta and driving on without getting out and looking.

Makes some sense, my new sources seem to point out that a lot of people either got their eridian weapons from the following: BA mobs(Such as Pyros due to the restriction of fire only weapons), or the armory. My armory is glitched and I have sought for a way to fix it, to no avail. If anyone has any idea what may be wrong, my quest "It's like Christmas", is bugged and only has the second objective "Steal Loot" checked off. Whenever I go to the armory and kill Knoxx, there is an iron door blocking the elevator. So ya, if that could somehow get fixed I can finally farm the armory for the orange eridian weapons.(Also, if anyone has the armory under farm status and wouldn't mind having another tag along I'd be more than happy to accompany someone, I'll equip a rare find mod to improve our chances with rare items and have TONS of spare 5 ability epic rare find mods for both Siren and Hunter classes. Whatever that is particularly rare and we both want we just dupe, and I don't ask for much as it is...)
- Jan 22, 2011 5:15 pm GMTplease try to hit the enter button at least once...
but anyways i got my firebomb off crawmerax i think
i have about 3 orange eridian guns and would dupe them but i cant connect to xbl right nao

I eat mudcrabs for breakfeast - Jan 22, 2011 6:06 pm GMTHey Space, let me ask you this: Are they any good? That's what I really want to know. I have the maxed out versions of all the green ones, and the Mercurial Blaster seems to be the most useful out of them. Are the oranges actually worth having a 50 Proficiency in it? Thanks

Am I leaking? - Jan 23, 2011 1:43 am GMTi got 12 lvl 61 orange iridians and 6 blues and they are garbage....i dont use 'em.
- Jan 23, 2011 10:22 am GMTWhat about that Siren loyalty COM that boosts Eridian damage, does it help much? I've been maxing out my Eridian prof. on my Siren and planning on trying that setup out, once I can farm one of those COMs. Anyone tried this? Not worth it?
- Jan 23, 2011 4:24 pm GMTjay, sorry for the late reply but IMO they arent the best
they have pritty bad accuracy but in the hands of an experienced user you can dominate

Spaceassassin, I'd be very thankful if you could dupe said eridian weapons, however I'd be only interested in them if they were lvl66+, because I intend to use them. And when eridian profficiency is maxed, any eridian weapon that does elemental based damage(for example, the eridian thunder eletrocutes enemies rather than doing "white" damage) is significantly more powerful, enough to the point where I always have an elemental based eridian weapon among my choices at hand(by choices at handI mean the four weapons you can have equipped, I ALWAYS have an eridian thunder on me, they do SO much damage to the majority of enemies, including several bosses). The eridian thunder covers electricity at its prime damage, and I can tell you from experience that it is very powerful with maxed eridian profficiency. I tinkered around wtih the standard glob gun and flare eridian weapons, both lvl 67 requirement. The glob gun seems to do miniscule damage, but as you shoot more and more onto the target, the damage quickly stacks onto the damage over time effect corrosive has, and it really begins to do soem damage. The flare gun is similar, but does more damage because the majority of creatures in the game are much more weak against fire damage than corrosive. They did well enough that I now have both of them on me, and I switch them around with the eridian thunder accordingly to situations. If they did well enough, it makes me wonder how well the top of the line material will do.
As for the Eridian Warrior Mod for Siren, I have one on me and by the looks of it it does increase the damage output drastically. However, I believe it works on all weapons, and not selectivly for eridian weapons. If that is indeed the case, I have not noticed obviously xD.
So yah, Spaceassassin if those weapons are on par with the demands of the current level, I'd be extremely grateful to have said weapons duped, traded, or w/e. I just want those weapons.
- Jan 23, 2011 9:35 pm GMTDear lord TC PLEASE learn to make paragraphs...
However, I believe it works on all weapons, and not selectivly for eridian weapons.
That I am sure is incorrect actually. You see that's the whole point of Loyalty Mods, they provide bonuses to only that manufacturers weapons/shields. So the Eridian Loyalty Mod only boosts Eridian weapon damage. - Jan 23, 2011 9:52 pm GMT
Well, with that being the case with loyalty mods than I can assure anyone who uses an eridian weapon that does its damage according to an element that it will devastate enemies(Atleast I do, no idea if there is some skill in using eridian weapons really since I've always found them easy to use).
Another question to boot now taht you mention it is that I have a Loyalty mod, the proffesional for the siren, that has FIVE abilities(No idea on the rarity of a five ability loyalty mod, it's the only one I've ever seen outta a handful, including ones already obtained by other players). Now, the fifth and final ability increases shield capacity by 30%, however it never works. Now, with the given knowledge, I would presume that it would ONLY apply to a shield under the category of manafacturer that the loyalty mod specifically designates. If that is the case, my Alactritous Rose my well be outdated unfortunately(always fun to have some pearl shields on you, the bonus text abilities are always funny).
