I just got this game, and I thought I hope this DLC isn't as easy as Zombie Island of Dr.Zed...I of course mean Dr. Ned, haha.
This DLC is definitely isnt as easy as the rest of the game, you have 5 waves on regular difficulty: 1st is the started wave, 2nd gun wave(or I think, all she was screaming "IT'S THE GUN WAVE!"), 3rd is the horde wave (you are being chased down by those lunatics with machetes), 4th is the Badass wave, 5th the Boss fight (you just fight your old bosses). When you play, Moxxi changes difficulty on you or can make it annoying to fight. For ex: you can get super speed, enemies can become buffer, enemies have dead aim, you have almost no accuracy, head shots only (not really you just don't do much damage to the rest of the body, so it becomes not worth aiming there), rocket-launches are the best guns (meaning you should use it when she selects the mode, if you do, you have super increased damage), same thing for snipers, enemies have stronger guns. Then later on she can combine two modes and you are stuck with them for 1 wave.
Every enemy you fight is lv 50, so this isn't Zombie island where you can just jump in and play with ease after your first play through.
After every wave she drops ammo and health packs, and you have to run for them, or they will dissipate :(
I'm really looking forward to play this in co-op as this will require some planing and strategy.
So far I completed The Gully arena, so I might not know this DLC inside out. This is my first review, so if you have comments let me know so I can make my future reviews better ;)

If you want trophies, two more skill points, and a place for storage, get this DLC. It's not worth it, otherwise.

Variety is the spice of life, too bad Gearbox didnt keep this in mind when making Mad Moxxis monotonous arena combat.

Yes, Skagzilla can be defeated without dying. Lilith used an incendiary SMG, and finished with a shotgun. Proof of one play is placing the bait.Posted Dec 28, 2010
