Wow! I hope there are more cel shaded first person shooting games (and maybe other cel-shaded genre games as well).

Chris Watters sends a Goliath on a rampage in this video review for Borderlands 2.
I eventually got the game and I'm afraid to say it plays a lot like RAGE. I'm suppossed to be a vault hunter yet I'm at lv 10 and still haven't been to a vault! the kill the assasins side quest was good and if it plays a lot more like this later on then it'll get better. Hate to say it though but the driving bits are just dreadful - just as they were in RAGE!

Why are people crying over review scores on here...
If you like the game and disagree, then who cares what gamespot says?
Besides, nowadays a 8.5 is more like a 9.5 anyway
@First_Gen_Gamer Personally I find it annoying that they awarded the game an 8.5 - which is significantly less than the perfect score of 10 - without stating any reasons. I mean, fair enough, rate it what you want and as much I love the game I don't think it's quite 10/10 material, but it's poor journalism to not fully explain all the reasons for awarding it whatever score you award it. If it is an 8.5, then there must be some reason not to rank higher, and the reviewer never mentioned what it was.
As much as I don't like GameInformer they gave Borderlands a much deserved 9.75 and said "Instead of taking the easy route, the studio has taken everything that impressed in the original and greatly enhanced it."
I think I might be starting to like GI more than GS now. Seriously how can Halo Reach get a 9.5 when it's stale in comparison to the older ones?
@UnbornCorpser Because it was just the opinion of one person just like this review. I personally would give this game a 9.0 no problem. Every Halo game from the first to the last one released would get no more than a 6.5 from me. But thats the thing about reviews they are all opinions.
Couldn't get into it. Great atmosphere with great characters and dialog, but the game is a grindfest with overpowered enemies constantly in your face, and hordes of them.
Not worth the money IMO. graphically it's sub par, comically it's embarassing sometimes, to the point where you wanna mute all audio and hope it's stopped when you, un-mute, and as a lover of fps games and rpg games, this hybrid does work well, however it's the truest personification of "boringrind" - it lacks all it should have, it's just a badly drawn 3d grindfest shooting gallery, stay far away.
@Gankstar_VX84 I bet you suck balls at FPS shooters that require skill and not just the bigger gun wins the battle...
@Gankstar_VX84 Sub-par? You're kidding me right? Just because its a style of art you're not use to seeing doesn't make it sub-par. And again you must be one of those people that try to just rush through the game just to never play it again or sell it after since you shouldn't have any issue with your level IF you do MOST of the missions available to you I've yet to "Grind" with any of my game's yet.
On a final note don't try to tell others to stay away from a game just because you hate (dislike) how the game plays/looks. That isn't being helpful just completely misleading.
@Gankstar_VX84 Lol, Indeed it is not worth for buying :P
