I respect you guys bringing us game news and stuff and writing articles but can you keep it out of the gameplay videos? We really don't care. Better yet, WRITE AN ARTICLE about the video. Then people who want to hear your voice and opinion about the video can, and the people who don't won't have to.
Dude does anyone else wish these commentators would shut the hell up? It's so annoying I just want to hear the game REALLY don't care about what you guys have to say.
Well Justin and Kevin, I can't wait to fight Something Bob when Borderlands 2 comes out.
The character is pretty obviously a "rogue" type character from other RPGs. When he does his ability, it seems to show "weak" points on the target, and he has a set time to attack them. His melee hits hard, but obviously from behind is where the party is at.

I still hope the lvl system is better.. i dont wanna be enticed to do side quests and by doing so out lvling the rest of the area or majority of the game like Borderlands did
@TheodenofRohan yeah that was the worst. eventually i just waited until i beat the second playthrough so that everything scaled to your level
even then if you hit 50s in playthrough 1, the entire first section up to lancers were at least 10+ lvls behind

for anyone who isnt as informed as these two guys commenting... that purple elemental ammo is a booster type, if your shooting it at an enemy and your team mate shoots fire ammo while your purple booster ammo is active it doubles or triples the damage with the more of the elemental ammos that are used. I forget if they had a name for it but i read all this in playstation magazine article. I CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER for this game tho.
I love the new Supply boxes they got, as bizarre as that may sound. Its cool how differently they open. :D

If the guys in the vid had actually bothered to learn / say anything about the gameplay, they might have mentioned that Zer0's primary action skill throws down a decoy, makes you invisible, and highlights critical points on enemies, as well as giving you a damage bonus when you break stealth. The devs in the footage looked like they were using a more melee-oriented build, but you can apparently tweak his skill trees to favour sniping. Combine invisibility, crit hits + bonus damage, and you're looking at pretty much the perfect sniper.
8 Like Who are theses tool bags doing the commentary. They couldn't remember the name of the main antagonist in the game, the one guy apparently never used Zer0's action skill, and they didn't know what the slag effect was. All of this information was out way before E3. Your video game reporters, maybe you should do some home work before you get to demo what is set to be one of the biggest games of the year. At least do a little research before record the commentary for the video so you don't sound like an ignorant ass.
PS If he didn't even know to use the action skill it makes me wonder if he even used his allotted skill points. Maybe thats why the game seemed so tough.
@ck10304 I did. That's why I knew more about the game before E3 started than these 2 "experienced editors" did after going there and playing the demo.

This is supposed to be a gameplay vid and they said almost nothing about the actual gameplay. When the comments section is doing a better job explaining what's happening in the vid than the 'experienced editors', it looks pretty sloppy. I mean, be honest with yourselves: If you were in charge of these guys, wold you really accept this as a piece of journalism? It sounds more like two half-interested kids chatting about a toy they stumbled across.
5 Like that move that zero keeps doing which changes his vision and shows weakpoints of enemies is "deception." he throws a holographic version of himself on the ground and turns invisible, critical weakpoints of enemies are then shown and the longer you are in stealth then the more bonus dmg you do with your attacks.

@Samslayer green was corrosion in Borderlands 1, i have no idea what purple is... maybe some type of poison?

Anyways, towards the end of the video they were right, it's Slag, a play off the word sludge. Slag is the product of refined Eridium.
