the graphics are actually better. i know people will say if this is better than borderlands 1 than it must have been 16 bit or something. but its hard to make a cartoony cell shad design in 3d look realistic and the focus is on gameplay which looks better

I waited impatiently for 3 years for the first one to come out and now I'm doing the same for this one.

The key opens a treasure chest in some room in the game and the vault hunters relic increases your chances of finding rare items (this is what borderlands website says)

@kohle36 me and my friend still play it to this day. our favorite game still. We do co op split screen and its super fun. there is still an online community but split screens where its at. dont do single player it makes you feel depressed and lonely

Let's hope it still has *real* LAN coop multiplayer, like the first Borderlands (i.e. not like Dead Island).

Anyone still playing the first one? Never played it, but the more I learn, the more I'm kicking myself for missing out. If there's still an online scene I'd happily pick up a copy before 2 comes out

where are the scoped weapons? i wanna see some sniping.

i flat out loved borderlands game of the year edition. i'm sooooo looking forward to this game. i played part 1 all summer long, i mean i played it to death and still wouldn't mind playing it again. i like who they are adding a more colored theme to it. very nice. hope it turns out to be just as good or better than part one. part 1 is a tough act to follow!

I liked the first one but it died on me after my first character. I did not like how bland the skill tree's were. There was only 1 ability per class. I thought we were going to have all sorts of skills, its great to have a million guns with all sorts of different effects but I wanted more character separation. I thought it was going to be better so hopefully Borderlands 2 is a significant upgrade.

Well I can kiss another 300 hours of my life goodbye. I can't freaking wait for this game. I might just pump another 50 hours into the first to brush up.

Pre-purchasing this. The first one was so much fun. I am replaying it right now for the 4th or 5th time. Split screen is really important to me, I would like to see split-screen + online co op which I think I heard they were planning on doing. Has that been confirmed? Time to google ...

love the art style in these games....it's flat out bootyful... this looks pretty badarce.... never got mega into the first one probably because it was an online experience and I just didn't have the time....but it was fun and this is looking great as well
