Golden Keys?

Are Golden Keys shared between characters or do I get new ones for every new character I create?

Golden Keys go towards your account, not character. If you use it its gone forever on your profile. I recommend saving it until you reach level cap and with a trusted friend to increase the chance of getting better loot. Also the chest gives purple and higher items based on your level if you didn't know. Additionally, signing up for shift is one way of getting an extra key.

PS: This is just speculation but I have a second profile on my system which I use as a backup or for games that only allow 1 save. From what I can tell my preorder bonus also successfully applied to this file which gave me a key and the slaughter dome. So I can safely assume that if you are desperate enough, you can make an infinite amount of profiles on your system allowing you to get 1 extra key per. But if you are looking for good loot you will have to make each character reach level cap. Have fun with that.

You only get one, if you open the chest it's gone, even if start a new game with another character. The only way to get it back is to completely erase that saved file from hard drive and start all over.

I'm only talking about the one you get from pre-ordering the game.
