Though it may not be the most best platformer, Bomberman Hero brings back Bomberman with newer abilities.

The second I turned on Bomberman Hero, I thought it would be a corny, futuristic game. How wrong I was. Bomberman was back and took a break from bombing walls to now using bombs as weapons. As it being one of my favorite games on the N64, I had to write a review on this game. It was just too good not to write one.

Gameplay 4.5/5: Don't get me started on the difficulty of this game. Though the game was alot more easier than previous Bomberman games, the difficulty on some levels in Bomberman Hero are just RIDICULOUS. With the acception of the difficulty, Bomberman Hero had great gameplay with awesome attacks and weapon upgrades. Also, some levels you ride on jet packs, snowboard or even fly.

Controls 5/5: Not as good as Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooie, Bomberman Hero still has attacks that are real helpful. The moves are also basic. You can jump and throw (or place) bombs.

Music 3/5: Meh, the music didn't really do a whole lot for me. There were some levels with decent sounding music, but most of the time the music gets kind of repetitive in some levels.

As this being one of my favorite games on the N64, Bomberman Hero gets a 9.0. Make sure to look at the Super Reviews homepage for even more reviews!
