Perfect for all ages, but especially for kids!

User Rating: 9.5 | Bomberman Generation GC
When I think of a game that is just so much fun to play, Bomberman is at the top of my list! This game has everything you need to pass the time with a smile. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because it may not be for everyone. There is always room for improvement, but it is kid friendly to the max! I can't think of anything negative to say about this game, I simply didn't find anything I didn't like. However, it was unworthy of a 10 because I considered would everyone love it's child like appeal and I guess not. But ... if you don't like it, I would love to know why! The story is very good. As Bomberman basically you retrieve the Bomb Elements. Although not immersive, it satisfies the imagination. The options are excellent! You can play normal and multiplayer. There are also various mini-games that just add to the overall charm. Mastering basic moves is easy enough and entertaining. The items are effective and interesting finds throughout the game. They are needed and although this game has it challenging moments, they can eliminate frustration. The worlds are beautiful and fun to discover. Each world has a unique charm eliminating the chance of boredom. There was little to no repetitive feel. Each world progression had an excellent flow. Each world was a little more challenging than the previous. I really like the overall love that was put into this game. You can tell the designers cared and were fans! The graphics were great! It is a rather unique cell shaded style that is simply perfect. The bright colors are fun and keep your interest. The backgrounds are flawless. The cast of characters are perfectly cute in every way! The graphics add an overall personality to the game. Charaboms! How much do you love the help of these little guys?! It was yet another little unique touch that I adored! It allowed the player to input their own strategy and preferences. I must admit to using the Pommy because of the cuteness factor alone (hehe cuddle). Charabom battles were kind of simple minded, but fun none the less. The mini-games had their own unique draw. Some were very challenging, but I never found myself angry or frustrated. The overall feel of the game keeps your spirits up! There is so much to love about this game. I would highly recommend it to mommies who are looking for kid friendly games.
