Gameplay- 7/10
The gameplay is easy. Obviously. It's a game clearly focused on kids, of course it's going to be easy. You're given button prompts for "battle" as Penny. As Bolt, the fun kicks in. You can do various combos and attacks which, for the most part, is still super easy. But it's fun. Some attacks use energy (from the energy bar, similar to a health bar) while others don't. And no, it's not hard at all to get energy or health back. Partly could be due to the tanks everywhere that'll give you full health and energy. They also never empty so they you can use them as many times as you want.
The downside to the gameplay has to be the "mini games." The controls are broken in these mini games, which makes them so much harder. They work similarly to an old space invaders game...kind of. These show up when you have to hack into computers as Penny and they get progressively more frustrating as you get further into the game. They aren't fun, they're frustrating, and they make you ask yourself why you're playing the Bolt video game in the first place.

Voice Acting- 5/10
In short, it's very dramatic, very cheesy in some parts, and seems more like an amateur's work. If you've seen the movie Bolt, then just pay attention to how they talk while filming the show. It's exactly like it.

Graphics- 5.5/10
It's not the best by any means but I've also seen much worse. Character models don't look the best but environments don't look too bad.

Plot- 3/10
It's very simple. Rescue Penny's father and stop the Green Eyed Man. While traveling around the world, of course. That's all there is to it.

Music- 3/10
It's typically "spy" sounding music and it really isn't anything special.

Replay value- 2/10
Other than just for fun, there is no reason to replay the game.

However, I don't suggest paying full price for it. Either find it for cheap or rent it. You can easily beat it in a rental period.

Overall? A fun game that can be used to kill time or boredom. If you liked the movie Bolt, maybe give this a shot too. It's not bad but it's also not amazing, to put it simply.
