Good for a weekend rent for some easy achievements.

Bolt is an alright game. You play as a little dog with super powers and a girl with this magical bar with a wheel on each end. It's kind of fun using the dog's superpowers at first. He has a super bark that shatters walls, objects, and stuns enemies, laser beams that shoot from his eyes, and a pounding move where he pounds the ground and it shakes like an earthquake. This gets old pretty quick, though. There are parts in the levels where you'll switch over to a little girl character (forgot her name) and hack doors, etc. When you're her a lot of the game is stealth and trying to make it through without enemies spotting you. In her sections you can pretty frustrated since it's hard to distinquish distances for jumps, etc. You'll miss a ledge or bar you're supposed to swing from and have to start back at the checkpoint. The only reason I rented this is for the achievements and had a free rental coupon and the only reason I'm writing this "review" is to be the first (and maybe only) one on here to do it. A lot of games I pick up for achievements and just can't bare play through them and say forget about it, but this one wasn't bad. It wasn't really that great either, though. So, if you're lookin' to get an easy 800-1000 points rent it.
