Looking into this game, it would be impossible for me to give this game a bad review. Almost every gamer out there remembers playing an intense game of Mario Kart for the N64. No matter how they placed in the race, they just couldn't get enough of it. This game is a modern reflection of it. Racing is only part of this game. Much like Mario Kart there are power-ups that everyone rushes to get. Amazing cars surround you each race. While this game might not be as eye appealing as Forza, people have more fun with it. The online play is immaculate and addicting. It's impossible to put down the controller because the game is just as fun every race.
The Single player could use some work, but the online play is really what pulled me into this game. The lineup of gamertags and their corresponding pictures makes you feel this game was made perfectly to interact with xbox live.
I have read many reviews on this game, and I know what many of you are probably thinking. Why a 9.5? I decided to give this game a 9.5/10 for several reasons. Every car I love to see driving on the streets, I am able to race while collecting powerups and increasing my rank online. The tracks are fun and challenging. Honestly, I go into each race hoping to win but if I finish last, I have just as much fun as the guy in 1st. This was probably one of the best racing games I played in a long time. It makes a great experience for a casual gamer. I highly recommend picking up this game if you are looking for hours of entertainment. The ranking system will always keep you coming back for more!
