Difficult controls, but a bloody fun waste of time!

User Rating: 6 | BloodRayne: Betrayal PS3
As mentioned, controls are a pain sometimes, and the timing of moves has to be just right to meet some of the goals (like collecting the power ups hidden through the games). Plus there are areas where the number of enemies or the level's layout makes the games even harder, but all in all it is a fun slasher game. Also, you can back track through the level if you want incase you realize you have forgotten one of the treasures. There is a grading scale that determines your final based of points collected throught the level, but it has a prtty steep curve to it, so even if you do well you might still get a "bad" grade. That, and taking to many hits can screw up your score since each hit subtracts points. In all, a must have for fans of Bloodrayne (the games, not the stupid "Toilet" Boll movies), and something worth having for general fans of old-school 2D scrolling or hack and slash. If you're unsure, play the demo a bit, you will either really like it or really hate it.
