Blood Bowl Chaos Trailer (Xbox 360)

What makes me sad is how it looks like it's already been released everywhere except the US. If you look at the official site, it honestly looks like it's already out in the UK, European mainland, etc. I feel left out. :(

Not since Mutant League Football have I been interested in a "football" game like this. I hope they do it some justice.

Meh, I think that it looks good, unlike most sports games, which just strike me as a lazy alternative to actual sports for the brainless couch potatoes who are the greatest fans of modern athletic competitions. For starters, you can shoot fireballs at the opposing team. Now, who DOESN'T love that?

Can you guys honestly see this as being a decent game though? I don't think it will hold up to today's standards.

They are putting in an exact translation of the board game as a gameplay mode. Apparently it's the real time mode that is holding up production, and if they had skipped it the game would be out already. Do they really think we care about a real time mode?

The original PC game ('95) both hit and missed on recreating a really fun and novel board game. Maybe this one will get it right. It all really depends on their adherence to the original's board game turn based roots. If they are just making another real time graphics-only game, it will probably be a laughing stock.

Blitz with monsters? You have no idea what you're talking about. Blood Bowl is a board game that's been around since '87. And there was a video game in '95, 2 years before Blitz came out! This is going to be all that is awesome.

Judging from the trailers it definitely looks like it can stand the test of time, and besides I think it's a gonna be a game with focus on gameplay rather than graphics

It's been in development a loooong time. I wonder if it could stand the test of time.
