If arcade football is your thing than you can't do much better than this as long as you are OK with drugs and violence.
Tired of getting bogged down with all that football playing in football games? Wish you could be more like the NFL pros and call yourself a NFL player but really spend ur time in meetings, clubs, carrying guns, at the bottom of a pile of women and bottles of booze and doping steriods on the side?

All joking aside - all that stuff I listed is in the game. So is X-ray mid game images of broken body parts. Then you are left deciding whther or not to juice the guy or accept the fact hes hurt.
The season mode isnt deep but the game is MUCH more fun than NFL Street. Basically if you are bored with Madden and want to switch things up for a year football wise - this is the place to go.
Without spoiling the storyline - the storyline is actually good and makes you hate the guys on the other teams. There is a lot of fun to be had here alogn with some really solid arcade football. Enjoy.
