Foolishly looking for a simple, fun game to play before I go to bed at night I quickly jumped at the chance to spend $5 on Bliss Island after playing the demo. What I was greeted with was a game that makes the original Metroid look like a walk in the park by comparison. This game will upset you, frustrate you, and even anger you by how often you have to retry each and every level. You only get 3 tries to beat the minigame, so I found myself purposely restarting if I lost one of my 3 lives before I got toward the end of the minigame.
Do not be fooled by its appearance, this is not a game, it's an exercise in frustration and can only result in broken controllers from throwing them across the room.
