A fighting genre miracle for the psp. Too bad it's not in english.

Playing this game reminded me of the old days, when you couldn't set up those sweet looking combos unless you were one of those "masters". Truthfully, the different style of play will give you a run for your money, but it's definitely worth it. Working up to those levels of superiority is always fun and this game prevails in that aspect.

As for graphics, it seems cel-shaded, but closer to 3-D. In any case, the art style stays true to the anime/manga and it gives you this sort of refreshing feeling. This is truly the best way to showcase the characters and places from the story, without ruining the coolness factor of seeing your favorite characters duke it out in all their graphical glory.

The only thing that might disappoint is the soundtrack for the game. I was kind of hoping I could hear some stuff from the Anime, but instead, unoriginal tunes. Though, seeing as the past Bleach titles for the psp had the same problem, and it is some decent fighting music, it won't bother the gamer only looking for a good fighter.

Another problem might be the almost complete absence of English, but if you already are up to date with the japanese anime (and especially the manga), this won't be a bother. Most of the gameplay aspects are covered in English anyway. Also, most of the stuff that you need to know is covered in the FAQ already on this site. Check the 'Hints & Cheats' section above.

I might be a little biased towards Bleach, but if you're reading this, you probably are, too. So in any case, if you're looking for a good, addictive fighter, and a good Bleach game, this is the one. I definitely recommend picking up this title.
