Welcome to my review for Bleach: heat the soul 4- as a fan of the bleach anime series I really enjoyed the game for many reasons- if your not a big fan of the series then don't expect to enjoy the game nearly as much.

First of all the gameplay- you start of with only a few characters (these include Ichigo, Inoue and several others) but you unlock more as you gain more 'points' for example, from doing one fight you can earn up to 700 points, these go into your total points- and the higher your total points the more characters unlocked.
You can also unlock movies, music and art for direct viewing whilst in game when your points increase.

So.. there's several different modes, first is story mode- this involves using a certain character and fighting against another 1-2 characters (seperately) bassically you go through about 10 stages fighting enemies not of your choice with a character not of your choice, despite being the most boring mode it's the most rewarding and offers loads of points as rewards.
There's also training mode in which you use one character and fight several rounds- this particuarly helps them individually level up giving you random opponents to fight- every few fights your given a question about bleach (since I couldn't read Japanese text I just guessed) answering the question well gives you extra bonus experience, and getting it wrong earns you none- there's also a neutrul answer which gives you a small experience bonus.

Graphics are solid and colourful- you have a choice of over ten locations to fight at- these are all from the bleach series and include the school, senkai, soul society, the streets and many more.
Altough maps are small they are solid and there's nothing bad to say about them.

The sound is better than solid- they haven't used original music from the bleach series but created a fantastic original soundtrack which is drum n bass/techno genred, overall the music suits the game giving it a good feel as well as adding more pace to battles.

Thanks for reading, hope this review has helped.
