- "Almost, but not quite"
I'm a huge WWII expert, so the second I found out it was a WWII game I was hooked, and I still am. But, it has three major down sides. # 1: The game is to short, I think there should be at least 10-15 more missions. # 2: I think there's not enough planes you can use, I personally would like the game better if you could use the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, Grumman F4F Wildcat, Grumman F6F Hellcat, Grumman TBF Avenger, Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber, Consolidated B-24 Liberator bomber, and the Avro Lancaster bomber. And # 3: You can't always use planes you already have unlocked. For example, if I have unlocked either the SBD Dauntless or the B-25 Mitchell and I want to use them in the mission "Holding Guadalcanal", It won't let me use either planes, and what's worse is that you can only use the B-17 Flying Fortress in only 1 mission ! It's the same thing with the B-25 Mitchell !

It'll be satisfying to play, but nothing to really blow you away.

Showing some close-quarter details, D-Day, Torpedo action and a carrier landing. The German and Japanese voice acting is terrible. But you can turn it off! Enjoy!Posted Jul 5, 2007

Here is a clip from the Pearl Harbor level in Blazing Angels. It shows the annoying "heal your plane" mini game and some really bad, borderline racist Japanese voice acting.Posted Jun 25, 2007
