Nitty Gritty Fun!
The graphics are great! I love being able to fly over cities, getting lost in clouds of smoke, and the blinding sun.
Along with the stunning graphics, the music is downright phenominal. It could be a movie soundtrack. Very inspirational and heroic. Love it!
I absolutely love the tracking feature that lets you follow your selected target. Not only does this provide for some very cinematic moments, once you pick up on how it works it really helps your flying skills.
The missions are fun and interesting. It's not the same thing over and over again. They do a great job at giving you different objectives and many, many different planes to get the job done. I was stoked when I got to fly the same plane my grandpa did in WWII!!!
The missions progressively get harder and harder. In fact I'm stuck right now, but I'm loving it. Your wingmen are the right balance of stupid and aces. You can give them basic commands, but don't have to spend all your time telling them what to do. They do come in handy.
All in all a very solid game. I would recommend it to anyone. It puts you in the cock pit and lets you dogfight without having to be an aviation expert.
