Okay, imagine Final Fantasy, then put it in slow motion and you have this game. It has a partly interesting story, and terrible voice acting, but it can be fun. The map walking can be annoying because you move so terribly slow and the game does not let you know the location of anything. The world is rather big which is good, but that brings me back to the slow thing. The battles arent a joy either. With slow, predictable animations, and overpowered attacks you aren't in for much of a blast. One example is a move that takes up all your characters turns but can kill all four enemies. The thing that may seem cool is the weapon system. Weapons break (much like real life), but before they break you can repair them, or break them down to ingredients. Cool right? Wrong. Your weapons will break from 6-9 battles. Thus making leveling a pain. You will most likely go out and fight 7 battles, then go back to town to repair your weapons for money. The boss battles are rather challenging, actually. They will keep you on your toes. But the bad thing is, if you have been playing for two hours then beat a boss, there is a high chance your system will crash. I have not experienced the multiplayer myself, but from what I hear, if you are a hardcore gamer you wont enjoy it. Get this game if you need a psp rpg and you've got 9 bucks to blow.
