no console release?! i have blacklight tango down on ps3 and play ALOT. I love it. I have a PC but im just used to playing this on ps3. well I guess a PC release would be better. I like the control of FPS's on the PC more anyway. its alot easier to aim and move in my opinion. and its free they say?! now all i need is a release date!
Blacklight seems to be in this twilight zone between Free to play games and big titles I hope Blacklight does well
It seems nice.
Hey. It's free. Good enough for me :)
Agreed; it'll be interesting to see and hear what Zombie has done to improve upon Tango Down. One thing I understand they have added are decoys - presumably special grenades which generate false targets in other players' HEV view. As for free-to-play being unbalanced - if we're talking about free-to-play, with revenue coming from the marketplace ala BF: Heroes, the only issue I can see arising would come from XP-boosters (a one-use 'item' which provides a fixed bonus to all XP earned in a fixed period following activation)... and this could be solved by having a long 'cooldown'. In other words: after you use one, you have to wait a week (for instance) after it's exhausted before you can use another.
It doesn't look very impressive at first glance and I don't know how I feel about the free to play model. I'm worried that it will be fairly unbalanced because some people will be able to spend more money than others. But, this is just premature speculation and is only my first impression. Hopefully we'll see more next week.
