I was hesitant to buy this game because of the mediocre reviews, but when it was finally available for $20 I thought "what the heck". I must say, this game has positively surprised me, as it is one of the finest first person shoters. The graphics, sound effects, music and missions are first class! It never gets boring as every mission is extremely challenging. The only disadvantage I found with this game is the fact that it can't be saved manually. So I basically have to work myself through a whole mission before I can turn off the Xbox and hit the bed. This can be very frustrating, especially if certain parts of a mission have to be played over and over to finally get it completed. It only saves at the checkpoints, which are far apart, and when the Xbox is turned off, the checkpoint saves get lost. I don't understand people who say that this game is shallow and too short. Halo is not any different, but everyone loves it! There are eight missions in this game and each mission takes about 2-3 hours to complete, so this is a fairly long game that delivers pure non-stop action.
If you love first-person shooters, and you don't care about multiplayer (like me), you got to add this to your collection!
