I have tried a lot of tricks and none have worked. I am going to try the one you just mentioned. Hopefully, it will work.

Damn... sorry... have you logged into the eShop, where you were (or will be) prompted to get the latest system update?! That is where most people claim (myself included) the freezes subsided... sorry to hear of your continued woes...

So I hit the home button and then go to the eshop? and then go to system update? once there do i just hit the power button?

system update doesn't fix it. Wait for the official game patch.

Well, the official patch MIGHT fix it, but it might not. Remember, they're not really sure what the problem is... it only occurs on retail units not the dev kit. They can't test it on actual retail units until the patch goes live and they can download it just like the rest of us.

If this helps (and please let Gaijin know about this; I don't know how to contact them) I seem to notice that if you go BACK to the first Stage, stay on the level selection, and then turn off the power, you're able to get through it normal. i jsut did it just now and noticed taht it freezes up if I try shutting it off at either the Emerald Brine ot the SuperNature (Stages 2 and 3, respectively)

Same thing happens to me. This is the only time my Wii U has frozen, but it happens consistently.

Mine froze the past two times trying to get back to the home menu. Always an issue it seems with every game I play.
