No crying here - It's My Birthday is a real winner for the kids.

This innovative game called It's My Birthday, takes the concept of keeping children entertained at a birthday party to a new level by providing the whole birthday celebration in one package.
The game is aimed at children aged six to 12 and allows up to 12 players to join in the fun.
It also comes complete with everything to get the party started out of the box, including party invitations, banners and colouring sheets as well as a special Birthday crown for the all-important birthday boy or girl.
There are over 20 mini-games to keep the little ones entertained, including a sack race, scribble, bug hunt and more, and in true Birthday Party style it finishes with everyone singing a karaoke-style rendition of Happy Birthday.
There are three modes to the game, custom birthday, quick party and free style.
Custom allows you to choose a boy or girl's party, the theme, the child's name and even friends who are going to play – all having their own characters that can be styled to suit.
This mode runs the party for you – from beginning to end, all you have to do is provide the children and cake!
I particularly liked the way the room that the party is set in gets decorated each time a game is completed – so what starts empty finishes with banners, balloons, presents, a banner bearing the child's name – all really great touches.
Quick party mode allows you to jump in and start having fun without having to go through a set-up procedure, although in this mode you don't enjoy the full benefits of the custom mode.
Free play is just a way of trying out any or all of the games without having a party at all – and it's great fun for all the family.
This is a fantastic concept and one I can see growing and growing.
And it demonstrates once again just how versatile the Wii console really is.
