- "Amazing"
From the moment you step foot outside the bathysphere, your in aw. This game looks great. Sounds great, it is great. Where do I start? Well lets start somewhere, with graphics and visuals.
Graphics in this survival horror first person shooter are very pleasing. From the water effects, to the lighting on the blood covered floor, it all looks amazing. Up close there are a few blurry textures on occasion, but as a whole this game is beautiful. When you stop to look outside a window at the ocean water around you, and admire the buildings around you, fish swimming about happily. It's a great sight. For graphics and visuals it gets a 2 out of 3.
Next category is sound and music. The music in this game is creepy. It's a horror game, so it does it's part. Occasionally you will come across a radio playing some 50's and 60's era music, makes you feel like your living in the past. The sound in this game when it comes to everything except music is just great. When you hear the echoing scream of a splicer as he is electrocuted in a pool of water, it puts a smile on your face. Everything from a Big Daddy's clunking footsteps to a little sister's plea for help, all sounds very well done. Sound gets a 3 out of 3.
The games plot and story is the last category I will discuss. Without giving away any spoilers, your stranded in the city of Rapture, and you are trying to escape. That's the plot in a nutshell, oh but it's SO MUCH MORE then that. Around every corner there is a new recording adding to the atmosphere of what is Rapture. Or a new plot twist just waiting to be uncovered. Let me just say, I loved the story on this game, it appears a simple "stranded and must escape" within the first hour or two, but soon you realize that something is not what it seems. Lets just say... my mind was blown when I found out the stories main plot twist about 3/4s through the game. Even before and after that there are still twists and epic moments. This gets a 3 out of 3 in story and plot.

Before Bioshock, I never really payed horror games much notice. I just shunned them away, didn't acknowledge them. After playing this amazing game, I for sure wont make that mistake again. This is a must buy if you have never played it before, even if you only remotely like first person and or horror games. If you add up those scores, this game gets an 8. Making it one hell of a great game to play. Now, would you kindly go play this game? ;)
