BioShock User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Immersive"
I avoided this game for 2 years because i was apprehensive about it's difficulty. I'm used to games that cost 100 dollars and take 4 hours to finish, if you can be bothered. Bioshock was a refreshing change in that the creators spent some time on their single player campaign, making it the main/only focus of the game. The AI, the level design, the atmosphere and characters are all top notch. The two dancing splicers and drawings of the Big Daddys in the Little Sisters rooms brought a smile to my face. My only issues with this game are the way the NPC's constantly shake on the ground after you kill them. It looks like they are tapping their foot or waving at you...not cool. Secondly some of the dialogue is repeated. These two issues are distracting but not big enough to stop me from immersing myself in the world of Rapture.
