the bioshock world is the greatest environment ever created in gaming history.
this environment, with its unfailing richness and inventive authenticity, alone warrants a near perfect score.
yet alas, the gameplay is almost equally memorable. and the characters and adversaries are brilliantly unusual and intriguing.
only one drawback -- the game develops key characters on an unequal scale. the uber-homo/psycho sander cohen is a richly vivid and memorable character, whereas other bosses of seemingly equal import are barely one-dimensional in comparison.
at any rate, can't wait for the sequel.
