I have a more unique perspective, as I played Bioshock Infinite first. I saw people complaining about the story of Infinite, and the game mechanics, and claiming the first game was better. It was not better. Its story was not nearly as good, IMO, and it was just as unbelievable. There were parts that made no sense, and the enemies kept coming even thought the ammo was more limited (on medium or hard, but easy was OK regarding ammo and money).
It is just, the very complaints people had for Infinite can be used for this game. And the ending was just so non-climactic. I mean the final fight was good, but the ensuing story was confusing and blaa.
A more disturbing style game, and while it was OK, it was not great, like some people seemed to think it was. I got this from Steam for 5 dollars, and it was worth it, but I had no desire to buy it when it first came out, as I played the demo and it never grabbed me. The full game was better then the demo, but I am glad I got it on sale.
