Take a peek at the next installment in the BioShock series!
Huh...i haven't played either of the bioshock games. But now i really want to get one and two!!! i saw the video reviews and they are epic. But for everybody who is saying that it isn't bioshock because it's a city in the sky and not rapture, I know i haven't played the series...but the first took place in 1960 and the second took place in 1970 correct? Maybe this game tells how this sky city becomes rapture? I don't know. It is just my guess but hopefully they will do something wild and awesome!!!
@Sav117 One thing I wish I could have done more in rapture was go out in the water, maybe have some epic underwater battles, but it wasn't really introduced. Atleast in this game, there might be some bad ass sky battles!
This looks pretty cool..altho i don't know about the whole city in the sky thing, i preferred rapture.
i demoed the first one, it was interesting but not my cup of tea. just passed on the second cause it looked similar to the first. but this looks alot less creepy and better power cobo thingys and guns then te other two. definitely gonna pick it up! but seriously 2012????????? SO LONG!
to tell the truth I'm gonna say one thing: where the hell is Rapture? A city in the sky? that's not bioshock, is it? That thing didn't even look like the regular big Daddy, and it didn't have a litlle sister. I 'm not convinced.
I really don't see why every one says bioshock is so amazing. I mean the first one was preaty good but it wasn't OMG THIS IS DA GAME EVA!!! good. And i still haven't even played 2 yet. I know im probably gona get like a hundered thumbs down for this but i really don't see that much in it.
2012 why the heck are they making it this late and why torture the millions of fans like me !!!!!!!!!!!!! oh well looks awesome
@DanielMatt-wait it's 1912 i have a felling that this is going to be a extreme flaw in the plot (i thought it was like 2034)
@DanielMatt -hmmmm idk if that was a big daddy i mean it had a heart for a face but OK ill take your word for it (even though I'm one of bioshocks biggest fans and yet my parents wont let me have it cause I'm twelve oh well) and i don't know why theirs no little sisters maybe they made a compromise but it better be as good as little sisters. the only other possible explanation is that that's not a big daddy.
Why in the sky? The first Bioshock was INCREDIBLE, The sequel It's INCREDIBLE if you don't have the first, but this... Where is Rapture?
OMG that made my year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was wondering if infinity ward was going to make a game up in the sky cause after all they made one in the water:) and was that a big daddy with a heart for a head? scared the crap out of me :) But does this mean no more Little Sisters!!!!!!!!!!! No More Big Daddy!!!!!!!!!!! And no More Plasmids!!! If They don't have plasmids I'm going to cry for a week!!!!!!!!!!:(:(:(:(:( oh well I'm a bioshock fan and i cant wait for 2012 (even though that's a heck of a long time to wait.
So, it either has to be in the bottom of the sea or between the clouds in the sky... I guess the regular ground just doesn't cut it anymore!
An interesting twist, from a city based off of Andrew Ryan`s self serving ideals to what looks like a propaganda saturated, government controlled, sky bound "utopia" (cue in fascism). It would also seem transhumanism plays an important role in the city, perhaps the abilities that the player will utilize are the fruits of implants in the body. A new setting with great potential without a doubt, hopefully the development team will be able to deliver a unique and entertaining experience.
i dont know why people say the second bioshock was bad. it was the best. if u dont like drilling the hell out of people than ur crazy
It's amazing how people can decide how great or crap a game is going to be based on a CGI trailer! The dumbing down of society continues.
looks freakin AMAZING! i am going to miss rapture's great art style and fighting drill wielding goliaths...not to mention the whole adam storyline that was amazingly woven together. i just dont see how this will work in to the whole utopian; no rules hellhole that was what ,made rapture so beautiful. but hey, lets wait and see
Sky City? It dosent sounds like a great idea. But well its Bioshock... Let's see a bit more. I mean a sky city can't be a secret like a city underwater right? Looks more shiny and happier... But lets see, lets see.
Whoa! A giant city floating in the sky...that's an infinitely irrational idea!Once again, this BioShock looks just as awesome as the previous games taking place in Rapture.
Very epic and heart-stopping trailer. Woulda yelled so loud...ppl down there would definitely hear my scared self.
I have respect for the bioshock series. I aint letting that one slip away from me, like Bioshock 2 did.
cool this is basically like a steampunk game i guess I am kinda hoping that they make this game a little less linear, maybe even free-roam like fallout 3
Can't wait for this one. I like how it's still going to be disturbing and horrific in the bright cheerful atmosphere of the sky.
