Infinite as the third installment in the BioShock franchise has worth the wait!

User Rating: 8.5 | BioShock Infinite PS3
It has been a long time since the game was announced and the BioShock fans were so excited including me, however the final product we have now might disappoint a little from what we have been expecting, but for those who play Infinite as their very first BioShock game they will be mind blown, i say this because in the technical area of the game the textures look poor and not so realistic like in the very 1st BioShock game except fot the pc version maybe, on the good side the art here is just spectacular from beginning to end everything you´ll see here is gorgeous and highly decorated with beautiful color intensity which immediately will suck you in this world, the control response is nice and precise depending on the weapon you use, there´s quite a big arsenal and most of the guns feel different , plasmids are now called vigors and as the name changed so did the way you feel when using them (in a good way) they all feel fresh and different and they are noticeable useful if you now when and how to use them, the story is another attraction you start the game with a task and that´s it with no explanation on why you have to go to Columbia and get the girl back to pay a debt you also don´t know, this causes many questions that get answered along you progress in the game and find Voxophones to learn more about the characters.
the game can be a little bit boring sometimes but this is that rare game where simply look is just enough for you , on medium is not so challenging except when you find a Handyman and a little thing you have to fight here and there.....
in conclusion Infinite is a great game to play , it´s lengthy, it´s beautiful, interesting, strange, it´s darkly atmospheric, and Columbia makes you think Rapture doesn't exists, i mean is a city with it´s own identity.
as fan of the franchise when i finished the game i felt mixed reactions, i had lots of fun, i was very intrigued, but after the ending i felt unsatisfied like there was something missing in the whole experience, but i think those who have never played any BS game before will remember Infinite for so may years to come as much as i remember Rapture.
i highly recommend it if you love FPS games with a massive depth and close attention to detail .
my personal score is 8.7
