A game with an Intricate story that explore's many archetypes result: First FPS game ever to send shivers down my spine.
I have given up on gaming ever since Black Ops arrived, simply because I couldn't stand how I would they realised the same COD game over and over (they may as well have just called it MW2.5). Although I wanted to give this game a fair go simply because trailers were so amazing and the AI interaction seemed more real than what Bella in twilight had with the rest of the cast.
So first things first,
Everyone hate games with dodgy AI's who dont know the difference between red and blue. What Bioshock managed to do was to literally create some of the most believable characters, with a narrative and voice acting soo good I couldn't believe it was a game. The story telling is all the way up there next to Heavy Rain and this is the amazing part about it... they actually managed to pack it into a action packed game that never felt stale.
Now dont think just because this game has a good story the gameplay will be boring, or clumsy. They managed to do a better Job in keeping the campaign interesting than COD did, and COD is somehow suppose to be the best FPS of all time ? (maybe Best multiplayer FPS.yes.). They did this by keeping everything they did, every fight, and every scene difference. For the more advanced player I suggest to play on Hard, that is was I completed the game on, and I felt like it really forced me to really test my skills and to explore new ones too, combining powers, with other powers can be interesting, and combining all that with weapons is even more rewarding.
All in all this is hands down one of the best games I have played in a very long time. 10/10 in every category.
