***POSSIBLE SPOILERS***
im doing my first playthrough of this game and I have a love/hate relationship with it.

don't get me wrong its a great game, but i just have terrible luck with it. like after i killed 2 big daddies (needed cuz fontaine kept on taking my health) and i didnt save and it froze on me and pretty much put me back ~1-2 hours.

im bummed but i like it idk :/

I get what you're saying but the chance to play more Bioshcok is never a bad thing.

If I know the level you're talking about... Was it because you tried to take some Cigarettes out of a trash can?

Exact same thing happened to me... It wasn't really a 2 hour set back though

the section TC was talking about was my least favorite part of Bioshock 1 by far. i'm a very meticulous player and exercised lots of caution. it took me more than 1 try but i felt very satisfied when i got through that part of the game because it took me out of my comfort zone and i succeeded anyhow. as your health bar is shrinking, just blow through to get that 1st piece to recovery and then it's business as usual.

i hope it was just a loss of time, but that's been a fact of gaming life for well over a decade. we soldier on, especially for a narrative as fun as this
